Kinship Wheel
Navajo Kinship Wheel
This concept, originally developed by Don Mose, helps children of all ages learn the appropriate reference for their relatives. Students will have fun matching the icons to learn the correct references for family members.
Two "wheels," layered one atop another, contain kinship terms in Navajo and English. Students turn the wheels to match the images in the cut-out window.
Measures 12" diameter and printed on durable cardstock.
