Monument Valley, Utah student, Tasheena Cly, created this bilingual story with the help of her parents and 4th grade teacher. Miss Cly designed and executed all illustrations. Photo images were provided by her parents. Teacher, Darlene Smith, assisted with translation. This is a simple and eloquently-told story about a young girl's relationships with her world.

Tasheena Sue Cly was the winner of the 2014 SJSD Heritage Language Young Author's Competition.
